The S Family @ Rice Creek Regional Trail

I grew up with mom and dad S, and it's so strange that we all have kids now. CUTE kids, at that. Their little guy, Henry, is an amazing and handsome little 18 month old. In 1 hour, I got to witness almost every emotion this dude has - excitement, happiness, playfulness, curiosity, frustration, anger, you name it. And I'm so glad my camera was there to catch it all!

Baby Lula @ Normandale Community College

Little Lula is 6 months old, and completely adorable. We had a fantastic hour with a great variety of unique and beautiful scenery at the Normandale Community College. She is by far the happiest, easiest baby to photograph to date! She somehow just knows to look at the camera and smile (unlike my 1 year old, who looks everywhere BUT the camera). I can't wait to edit the rest so I can stare at those baby blues a little longer...

Brad & John @ Nicollet Island

After 10 years together, and the passing of a monumental law in Minnesota, Brad and John are finally getting married in December! These two great guys definitely deserve it. We wandered around Nicollet Island and St. Anthony Main and found some great spots to take photos to mark this momentous occasion.

Baby Grace and family @ Keller Park

I got to spend a wonderful hour with an old friend and her family, who includes a beautiful, smart, and sweet little one and a half year old. Like any other one and a half year old, baby Grace loved to explore and run...and wasn't too fond of sitting still. But we got some great candids, which are often better than the "sit still and look at me" photos anyway.

Miriam & Meghan, In Love @ Rice Creek Regional Park

Meghan and Miriam are celebrating 1 year together. What better way to mark the milestone than with some photos!? It was inspiring to see the love, confidence, and care these two share for each other. I was so honored and proud to be able to take these photos in my home state, where equality finally (officially) lives!

Scott & Corey, Married @ The Happy Gnome

Scott and Corey were married in an intimate setting at The Happy Gnome in St. Paul surrounded by their close family and friends. It was a laid back, low stress day that allowed the true purpose of the day to shine: To showcase and celebrate the love these two wonderful people share. The small details of the day were meaningful, thoughtful, and beautiful.
