Being a photographer is my dream job. I absolutely love what I do. I consider myself a hopeless romantic, with an obsession with all things vintage. Add in a loving couple, family, or playful child, and I'm on cloud 9. A camera (or 2!) in my hand makes it even better. I love the introspective process of finding the beauty in the world and in relationships, and taking timeless photographs of them. Whether that be a newly married couple, a kitten, a child running in a field, or perhaps just the field itself. In all photo shoots, I enjoy focusing on the details of the day and the surroundings.
I consider my style to be photojournalistic, with a relaxed feeling even during formal portraits. While I always bring flashes along in case, I don't use them very much. I find that natural light enables me to capture the moment how we will all remember it, instead of creating a different mood.
I have been taking photos professionally since 2010, and I am available for Wedding, Engagement, and portrait photo sessions in the greater Phoenix, AZ area with the ability (and urge!) to travel. I also have occasional openings during the summer in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
