Chris & Laura, Engaged @ McCormick Stillman Railroad Park {Scottsdale Engagement Photographer}

I'm so glad Chris, Laura and little Eleanor humored me - they got up early to avoid the heat, and they met me at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale for their engagement session. I've decided that the train park is officially my favorite photo location (especially if there's an adorable little kid in tow). Or maybe these three made me like it so much because they were just so awesome. This is a great couple who clearly love each other and their daughter very much. I can't wait to photograph their wedding this fall!

 

Michael & Amy, Engaged @ Scottsdale Civic Center {Scottsdale Engagement Photographer}

Well, summer has officially arrived hear in Phoenix, which means photo sessions are no longer at sunset (when the light is the best, but the heat is the worst). So we headed to the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall in the early morning, where I had a wonderful time with Michael and Amy (and their adorable dogs), who were recently engaged and getting married next year. Also, there is nothing more romantic than a man playing guitar for his lady underneath a big tree.

What a great end to Phoenix's wedding season! It's amazing how one can forget about the 108 degree temperatures when you have a beautiful, loving, fun couple and wedding to photograph. Michael and Andrea celebrated their love for each other with a simple, elegant, intimate affair at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center! They were great sports about taking photos outside (yikes, it was hot!), and had a blast on the dance floor with their closest family and friends. I'm so glad the wedding season ended on a high note!
